It is named for the location of its discovery. It is believed that this type of plated dinosaur originated in Asia. The spikes and plates that protruded from its back were attached to the skin and not the skeleton. Strong tail muscles and four spikes made its tail a weapon to avoid! The Tuojiangosaurus lived about 154 million years ago.
